At the Sussex 009 Modellers day (see separate post), I did get one or two little things. Such as:
However, I did manage to pick up this little beauty as well and I can happily say, until Lyd's finished, She's the new pride of my little line. Seen here next to my latest item of rolling stock to be completed.
DLG needs some minor detail ajustments to it but she runs beautifully. Much unlike my Meridden Emrys will ever do.
Comments as always welcome,

Another Layout? - Not quite
One of my jobs is that of the Bluebell Railway's 9F club Badge Assessor which gives me a chance to work regularly on the railway at a number of events. During the railway's 50th event, the club had its first ever stand and a model railway was shown and then donated to the club to use as it sees fit. This evolved into the current layout which features 009 and 00. As part of the argeement, I've taken over the 009 side of things with my colluage taking the 00. The plan was originally for a 3 coach terminus station similar to that originally at Barnstaple but that soon changed to one of a 5 coach terminus for the 009 with a 3 coach terminus for the 00 in the presevation era. Here's a few photos taken a few days ago which hopefully will change in the next few months intime for the club layout's next few bookings.
More updates as the layout progresses,
Jon

Steam Engines: Lots of work
Lots of work has been happening over the last few days to mainly the steam fleet. Russell and Arun have recieved some basica detailing, while Linda and Axe have recieved full detailing with a number of features picked out with Linda recieving a detailed cab.
I've also decided to order a Chivers 'Lew' Kit for conversion into the Ffestiniog railway's Lyd which I'm planning to turn out in its current (May 2011) BR Black mixed traffic.
Comments would be gratefully recieved.

Linda, Russell and Merddin Emrys
Evening all,
Over the last few days, I've done some more work on Merddin Emrys along with Russell. Mostly some more detailing until I can get round to fixing the chassis under Merddin Emrys although Russell is close to getting painted now.
And as the cab roof fell off Linda AGAIN, I've cleaned up the joint and done some more detailing. Hopefully improveing the engine's looks.
Further backhead work has been done as well along with some other smaller details (like the yellow axlebox covers on the tender).
As normal, comments are always welcome

Rolling Stock Work
Evening all,
After the arrival of a delivery containing the paint I needed to finish the other 2 Bug boxs, I've done some work to finish off my Colonel Stevens Set of Coaches (FRs 1, 3, 4, 20 and Van 2). As paint for Linda and my other FR Van were in the same order, work was done to them as well with Linda being finished apart from a pair of FR crests for the Tender.
At some point all my FR coaches will recieve transfers with the relivent text on them for each coach but that's a job for the summer.
