Billington Road - OO DCC

Billington Road is a OO/009 DCC layout set in the 21st Century. It is the shortened 2 Platform terminus of the Billington Light Railway which is a preserved steam railway set in the south east of england. The station is also home to the Steam and Diesel Engine sheds and the terminus of a small narrow gauge line which runs from the station to the remains of a old quarry. It's shortened due to a main road being built though the centre of the former station site meaning that a runround loop although installed isn't useable meaning a shunter is needed to run the train engine round its train between journeys. Not modelled as part of the layout are the carriage sidings just down the line and the Railway's workshops which adjoin the sidings.
